My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the facilities were modern and clean, and the staff was quite friendly, the dining experience left much to be desired. I also struggled with connectivity since the Wi-Fi was unreliable, and some inconveniences made my stay less comfortable than I hoped for, especially considering the rate I paid.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were modern and clean, providing a comfortable space to rest, but for the price, I expected a bit more in terms of amenities.
Service
6.0
Service was a bit hit or miss; while some staff were friendly, I often found myself needing to address minor issues directly, which was inconvenient.
Location
7.0
The location was somewhat limited due to the ongoing road closures, but it remained fairly accessible for visiting the park.
Dining
5.0
Dining was disappointing, with the food quality at the lodge cafeteria feeling more like fast food, and the breakfast lines were quite lengthy.
Facilities
6.0
While the facilities were generally clean and modern, the lack of Wi-Fi and limited dining options made it feel less luxurious than expected.

Staying at Canyon Lodge was a unique experience. The lodge is located right in the heart of Yellowstone, making it a prime spot for exploring the park. Though the room was clean and modern, I found the price to be quite high for what it offered, especially considering there were no air conditioning, TV, or Wi-Fi. The overall experience was positive, but I wouldn't want to pay such a premium again in the future.
Rooms
7.0
Our double queen room was clean and had modern decor, but it lacked air conditioning and electronic amenities like a TV or Wi-Fi.
Service
6.0
I didn't have many interactions with a lot of staff but found the check-in process to be smooth. The overall service felt average, for the price expected a bit more.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the park, ideal for exploring various attractions quickly.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were somewhat limited and overpriced, but we had what we needed to satisfy our hunger.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were basic, which is expected in such a remote area. Availability of parking was a plus, yet the lack of air conditioning made it less comfortable at night.

Staying at Canyon Lodge was a unique experience, particularly given the beautiful lodge design and overall ambiance. The rooms were well-equipped and reflected a natural aesthetic, but the absence of Wi-Fi, TV, and consistent dining options left something to be desired. The lodge is ideally located for exploring Yellowstone, but the limited outdoor seating and pricing for the services offered were noticeable downsides.
Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, equipped with modern amenities. However, the lack of certain conveniences like air conditioning and Wi-Fi was disappointing.
Service
6.0
While the staff did their best under challenging circumstances, service could improve in communication and responsiveness, especially regarding limited dining hours.
Location
9.0
Canyon Lodge is perfectly situated within Yellowstone, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the park without long commutes.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were quite limited, especially in the evening. The cafeteria food was decent, but variety would have enhanced the experience, particularly for longer stays.
Facilities
7.0
The lodge offered modern facilities, but the outdoor environment felt unfinished and lacked inviting relaxation spaces.

Staying at this lodge was quite the experience! The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore the park and soak in nature. While the rooms are clean and spacious, they lack some amenities and comfort features. The dining options are limited, but they deliver decent meals. Overall, it offers good value for a stay inside the park, though the lack of Wi-Fi and some room features were a bit disappointing.
Rooms
7.0
Our double queen room was spacious and clean, but it was quite basic and lacked drawers. I appreciated the refrigerator for storing snacks, though some rooms might not have one, so it's worth confirming ahead of time.
Service
6.0
Housekeeping did a solid job. However, there was a hiccup when we ran low on toilet paper and were informed the supply truck hadn't arrived.
Location
10.0
The lodge is centrally located, making park attractions easily accessible. It’s a short distance to the best spots in the area, which saved us so much time each day!
Dining
6.0
Dining options were somewhat limited, but I found the cafeteria-style eatery to serve a decent dinner. It wasn't gourmet by any means, but it hit the spot after a long day.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities could use some improvement, particularly in terms of comfort in the rooms. The Wi-Fi was surprisingly slow, only available in the reception area.

My stay at the Canyon Lodge was disappointing overall. While the rooms were clean and modern, the lack of character and important amenities really took away from the experience. The check-in process was lengthy, and the dining options were severely lacking in quality. Despite having a convenient location within the park, the overall value for money felt poor given the high prices and low-quality services.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean, but lacked character and connection to the surrounding nature.
Service
5.0
The service was poor, particularly during check-in where I waited over 30 minutes and received no response when I called the front desk.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location within the park is convenient, allowing for quicker access to attractions compared to those staying outside.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were very limited and the food quality was terrible; I had raw bacon served at breakfast, which was unacceptable.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like the laundry room and ice machines were useful, but overall the amenities felt subpar considering the price.
